HUS is an ongoing collaborative project promoted and curated by Mass Collective through a series of workshops. After answering an open call, a group of amateur and professional photographers gathered to visually explore Hackney’s multi-layered urban fabric.
The first workshop explored the industrial past and present of the area starting from the building that hosts Mass’ studio, a former shoe factory converted into a workplace.
This exhibition is the result of a one-afternoon photography session, followed by another afternoon of collective editing, sequencing and printing.
